National Segment and Condition Prevalence and Incidence

The National Bridges to Health Dataset has been used by NHS England to publish data on national segment and condition prevalence and incidence, and how these change over time.

Prevalence of each condition as a single or multiple long term condition: whole population of England (all ages) as of 31st March 2024

This chart shows the number of people who, as of 31st March 2024 had the stated condition, and of these, how many had this condition as a single condition (purple bars), and how many had this condition alongside one or more additional conditions (red bars). Percentages on the bars indicate the percentage prevalence of the stated condition.
